Principal HR Analyst – Medical Compliance

Duties:
Serving as the HR Medical Compliance, Disability, and Screenings (medical, and drug & alcohol) main point of contact.
Engaging in the interactive process including workplace accommodations for sick or injured employees.
You will have an understanding of the leave process and workers compensation.
You will maintain the Disability Leave Management Database, coordinate, and receive the medical documentation for non-industrial related medical conditions.
In this position you may also be responsible for the extensive work involved in all aspects of coordinating Company wide medical screenings and medical clearances including drug and alcohol testing if applicable.
Consults with leadership regarding ongoing cases.

Must Have Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, and (8) yrs. of relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, and (6) yrs. of relevant experience.
Knowledge of all applicable laws (e.g. ADA, HIPPA).
Four years of handling reasonable accommodations and /or disability leaves.
Working experience in HR and Medical Compliance and/or Occupational Health.
Maintains confidentiality.
Exhibit sound judgement.
Proficient and advance skills in MS Office.
Personable, Flexible, Multitask and Handles pressure well.
Professional, organized with strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
Valid CA driver license.

Compensation Range: $64.00 to $75.00/hr
