Project Manager

Summary:
The Project Manager will work within the Transmission & Distribution Global Practice handling a project load within the region in a dynamic manner based upon the core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.

The Project Manager’s responsibilities may include:
Management of a portfolio of projects with the assistance of a Controls Specialist
Scope Development and Management
Budget development, management, and oversight
Schedule development, management, and oversight
Coordination with client teams across multiple disciplines
Oversight of contracting processes
Stakeholder management
Contract, and change order management
Monthly accrual management, and invoice review

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
Minimum of five years of project engineering or field engineering experience with at least 2 years related project management experience.
Must have detailed knowledge in either substations, networks, or transmission lines.
Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to travel.
Valid driver’s license required.

The hiring range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
