Administrative Analyst
Duties:
The successful Administrative Analyst candidate will be providing support to the Office of Safety, Security & Protection Group.
This position will be responsible for using analytical and independent judgment while performing a wide variety of work.
Primary responsibilities include budget development and administration and invoice/audit compliance administration.
Other responsibilities include dashboard reporting and other high level general administrative support from time to time.
This position will provide support on multiple and time-sensitive analytical assignments in a high energy, team based environment.
The successful candidate will provide dedicated budgetary support and especially in preparation for upcoming Fiscal Year (FY26) Budget Cycle.
Required Skills and Abilities to:
Analyze budgetary, financial, procedural, and organizational issues.
Provide project management support.
Research, gather and compile data.
Prepare correspondence, documents, presentations and reports.
Develop and administer contracts.
Monitor budgets and utilize financial tracking systems.
Use applicable software applications
Organize and prioritize work.
Train, problem solve, prioritize and multi-task
Use independent judgment and exercise discretion.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Operate current office equipment including computers and supporting applications.
Desires Experience Below:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years relevant experience.
EXPERT KNOWLEDGE (Proficient):
MSOffice – PWPT and Excel (Must be accustomed giving PowerPoint Presentations).
KNOWLEDGE IN:
Monthly & Variance Reporting, Analyzing Data.
MUST HAVE:
A minimum of 4 years’ financial background in Monthly & Variance Reporting, Analyzing Data (Proficient),and preparing Financial Statements.
Analytical, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and able to Work Independently.
Detail orient, Project Oriented, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
The hiring range for this position is $42 to $48 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
