Network Engineer II

Job Description:
Network Engineer II will be responsible for assisting in routing, switching, and engineering firewalls and cyber security protection including support, design, and integration.
Lead, design, and provide support for network systems.
Track, monitor, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
Leads and performs network research and development.
Perform network configuration, optimization, installation, upgrades, and testing.
Analyze requests and provide customer assistance for solutions.
Design, maintenance, and support of network infrastructure including Cisco and Arista switches and layers, trunks, port-channels, and spanning tree protocols.

Desired Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Cisco products and Engineering skillset.
Cisco routing and switching.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
SoCal residents are preferred.
No H1B candidates.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and 2-5 years of relevant experience; or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

*This position has an option for hybrid style work.

The hiring range for this position is $65.00 to $71.00 per hour. The base pay offered will consider internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
