Project Controls Analyst
Description
The project controls analyst supports the project manager by tracking the portfolio’s budget, forecasting financial spend, monitoring and reporting forecast, and responding to ad hoc data analysis requests.
Responsibilities:
Manage and report project cost and schedule data by reviewing headcount, performance drivers, financial and non-financial metrics, business objectives, and targets.
Ensure the program is following cost and schedule reporting guidelines.
Evaluates manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements.
Report on productivity and cost tracking metrics for engineering and construction firms and internal project management teams.
Develop, report, and manage cost data for projects.
Extract cost and schedule information from reporting systems and analyze data to report on status of the project.
Maintain SAP & P6.
Prepare, obtain approval, and post accruals.
Work with Engineering and Construction Leads to ensure proper representation of project schedule.
Provide regular communication on project cost, schedule and risk status to project team members and stakeholders.
Mark projects operative and finalize and record total project costs.
Involved in the tracking system to ensure that project manager is fully aware of detailed change order status.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience (open to level of experience).
BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
Compensation Range: $45 – $60/hr
