0175 Biotech Lab Engineer

Primary responsibilities:
Laboratory Support:
Serve as main point of contact for laboratory logistics including acting as equipment owner to assist Process Engineering, Facilities, Metrology, and Maintenance teams with the troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Lead laboratory management activities including inventory
Implement laboratory improvements related to organization (5S) and safety
Serve as Point of Contact for IT integration activities related to laboratory equipment as well as for activities related to equipment management associated with lab rescoping.
Author and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory equipment.
Support management and implementation of electronic lab notebook systems, including developing templates for MST experiments.

MST Engineer:
Support execution of laboratory experiments at the direction of MST lab staff.
Author content related to laboratory experiments.
Perform review and data verification for technical documents and reports.
Generate documentation related to introduction and qualification of materials used in
GMP processing at RICP under the supervision of MST staff.

Requirements:
More than 2 years of experience in a biopharma industry lab setting.

The hiring range for this position is $50 to $58.86/hr per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
