Senior Software Developer – Maximo
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates a positive attitude, customer service skills, problem solving skills and a Maximo hands-on Tech Support who has the ability to work collaboratively with teammates and business stakeholders.
This position will be responsible for fulfilling critical technical tasks necessary for upgrading to the Maximo Application Suite (MAS). These tasks include managing MIF (Maximo Integration Framework) interfaces, implementing integrations via JSON/SOAP XML and REST APIs, application configuration, resolving application issues per requirements, removal of 3rd party tools, system upgrades, database configuration, automation scripting, Maximo mobile (or 3rd party mobile app) configuration, security configuration, escalations, workflows, and migration management.
This position requires a strong understanding of relational databases, MAS/Maximo data model, MAS/Maximo infrastructure, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Jython, and Java is also essential.
As a technical lead, the individual will be responsible for providing technical insight, mentorship, and effectively collaborating with IT and Water System Operations stakeholders.
Desires Experience Below:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or related field.
6 years of work experience providing technical support for Maximo 7.6.1.3 (or later).
Experience with IBM Maximo EAM technology and providing Maximo technical support in areas such as: application configuration, database configuration, automation scripts, MIF (Maximo Integration Framework) interfaces, security, escalation, workflows, migration manager, etc.
Proficient knowledge of relational database and Maximo’s data model.
Experience using programming languages such as: Oracle PL-SQL, Oracle SQL, Jython, Java, C#, xaml, xml, SOAP and/or REST APls.
Demonstrates a positive attitude, customer service skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teammates and business stakeholders.
The hiring range for this position is $62 to $70 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
