The Communications team is responsible for telling the company’s story around the world. Whether it’s speaking to media and bloggers, hosts and guests, industry commentators, thought leaders or the wider community, the Communications team is the voice of the company.
The Difference You Will Make:
The Senior Comms Manager role is part of the Company’s Product and Launch comms team, which is responsible for overseeing the company’s product innovation story globally, as well as supporting its product launch cycles.
Your Typical Day:
Supports execution of global press strategy around our product launch cycles and product news.
Forms part of core media relations team that is responsible for achieving and sustainable positive and impactful press results around our products and product drop cadence.
Owns key press relationships with reporters across general news, consumer, lifestyle, travel, entertainment beats, continuously bringing key and actionable insights to team. Develops and drives press strategies around specific products and product drop cycles. Drafts press materials related to our product launches and product news, from newsroom posts and pitches to recap reports and messaging docs and FAQs.
Provides on-the-ground press support during launch events and product-focused press trips, as needed.
Education:
8+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Established press relationships in general news, consumer, lifestyle, travel, and entertainment space.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrates outstanding proactive and multi-tasking abilities.
Willingness and ability to travel for launch events, press trips, and critical meetings.
Works cross-functionally to move projects from ideation to execution.
The hiring range for this position is $85.00 to $103.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
