Employee Relations Specialist
Summary:
We’re in search of an ER Specialist who’s experienced and use excellent judgment in interpreting and adapting guidelines such as policies, regulations, precedents, and work directions for specific cases or problems based on analysis of the subject and course of action selected from various alternatives.
The ER Specialist will conduct their daily business in a professional manner with internal and external Legal counsel teams.
This includes:
Researching assigned aspects of law and arbitral precedent related to contract proposals, grievance cases matters and may presents case information in administrative forums or related hearings.
Prepares graphs, charts, tables, and summarizes the economic implications of management and labor contract proposals.
Desires Experience Below:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience.
Required Knowledge of: Labor relations and Human Resources Principles.
Maintains confidentiality.
Lead investigations.
Advance MSOffice and Administrative duties.
Know and understand CBA laws, rules, and regulations.
Experience working in a union environment.
Personable, Flexible and handle pressure zones well.
Detail orient, organized, multi task, strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
The hiring range for this position is $56.00 to $65.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
