The Lead Project Manager will work within the Transmission & Distribution Global Practice handling a project load within the region in a dynamic manner based upon the core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.
The Lead Project Manager’s responsibilities may include:
Management of a portfolio of projects with the assistance of a Controls Specialist.
Scope Development and Management.
Budget development, management, and oversight.
Schedule development, management, and oversight.
Coordination with client teams across multiple disciplines.
Oversight of contracting processes.
Stakeholder management.
Contract, and change order management.
Monthly accrual management, and invoice review.
Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
Minimum of five years of project engineering or field engineering experience with at least 2 years related project management experience.
Must have detailed knowledge in either substations, networks, or transmission lines.
Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to travel.
Valid driver’s license required.
Compensation Range: $75.00 to $90.00 per hour DOE
