8908 Scaled Ops Airtable Tools Manager

The Scaled Operations team at the company increases the effectiveness, utilization, quality and impact of the Homes and Experiences on the company using people-powered operations.
We also work closely with the Standards team to devise and test policies that will balance the needs of our guests and hosts.
The Tooling and Infrastructure function on Scaled Operations is responsible for creating and managing the systems that our teams use to acquire, vet and optimize our supply of Homes and Experiences.
These systems might include CRM systems such as Salesforce, labeling tools such as Labelbox, reporting and dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau) and internally built tools. The Tooling and Infrastructure team work with many stakeholders to gather requirements, from sales to marketing to operations, and then they work with product and engineering teams (internal and external) to get platforms and features built.

As an Operations Tools Manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing our operational efficiency by developing and launching tools tailored for our internal teams and external partners.
Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather tools requirements and leverage your technical skills to create custom interfaces in Airtable. You will utilize critical thinking to structure and regroup requests, ensuring that the tools developed align with user needs.
Your role will involve requirements gathering, solution development, project management, feature testing, and deployment, along with performance reporting of these systems and programs.
A typical day:
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze tools requirements, using critical thinking to structure and prioritize requests effectively.
Design and develop custom interfaces in Airtable, ensuring that the tools created are tailored to meet the specific needs of internal teams and external partners. Manage the project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, including solution development, feature testing, and performance reporting to ensure tools enhance operational efficiency.
Your expertise:
6+years of work experience with increasing responsibility in a technology or consulting environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Masters a plus.
Experience managing and executing large cross-functional projects in the technology / operational space; knowledge of Airtable and similar CRM tools is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience of onboarding teams, including training and technical support.
Analytical toolkit – Modeling and data manipulation in Excel is critical, SQL is a bonus.
Confidence, resilience, creativity and self-sufficiency in solving problems yourself
Exceptional collaborator and influencer with the ability to work across functions and geographies and with partners at differing levels of seniority.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
The hiring range for this position is $65 to $75 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
