Assistant Engineer
Daily Duties Include:
Learns and assists with planning, coordinating, conducting and monitoring tests, studies, investigations.
Learns and assists to prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations.
Learns and assists with technical analyses.
Learns and assists to prepare cost estimates and budgets.
May execute mathematical, statistical, and other models.
Learns and assists with site inspections.
Learns and assists with maintaining official records, documents, and data.
May participate on a project team.
Performs other related Engineer job duties as required.
Desires Experience Below:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field by hired date.
Experience In:
MS Office Suite (Proficient).
Experience in Electrical transmission planning, Project management, Powerflow software, Python, C++ Software.
Personable, Flexible, Multitask and Handles pressure well.
Detail oriented, organized, strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
Local Candidates (SoCal).
Required Knowledge in specified disciplines of:
Engineering principles and practices in specific discipline; and current office technology and equipment.
Required Skills and Abilities to:
Analyze and interpret data; organize; problem solve; prioritize and multi-task; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; work independently and in a team environment; and operate current office equipment including computers and supporting applications.
The hiring range for this position is $46.01-$51.36 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
