4679 Project Document Controller
Summary:
The Project Document Controller (PDC) is a member of the project team and is responsible for managing and monitoring the project documentation and assisting the Project Manager to formulate necessary corrective actions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to and enforce Company policies and procedures for documentation.
Implement project document management procedures and systems, project document management training and (kick-off) workshops for project management team and/ or contractor.
Develop and update the Project Document Controls & BIM Plan in CAPEX Projects. BIM Plan development with support from Design Manager.
Archive files and ensure that all team members have access to necessary documentation and maintains user access.
Establish and maintain electronic Document Management Workflows.
Set up document status tracking based on milestones with (look ahead and overdue documents) for efficient document management and visibility of planned versus actual document delivery.
Responsible for document handover to Company site repository, ensuring Company site standards and requirements are met.
Assist as needed in administrative support for the project, including training coordination.
Typical Minimum Requirements for a PDC:
Education / Experience:
Technical Expertise in engineering, business administration or equivalent field or work.
Min 5 year work experience as PDC.
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:
Project Documentation in CAPEX Projects.
Proficiency in using MS-Office applications, Google Suite and CAPEX document mgmt system.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Autodesk Construction Cloud experience (ACC): Not mandatory but highly preferred.
The hiring range for this position is $25 – $30 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
