Summary:
The OSM is responsible for overseeing and supporting strategic projects across the organization.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Manager include:
Managing strategic projects for systemic problems by supporting business case development and facilitating a cross functional team in developing and embedding the solution in the organization.
Apply project management, process excellence and change management methodologies for sustainable solutions with successful business adoption.
Managing project related tasks, maintain, and track high quality integrated project plans and dashboards for reporting and decision making.
Ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and resourcing; Managing all artifacts associated with the project lifecycle.
Managing agendas, minutes, logistics and preparation for meetings with stakeholders
Developing reports, presentations, and communications for internal stakeholders, including Senior leaders.
Handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
Providing guidance in change management, project management, continuous improvement and communication to business leads.
Leveraging tools, templates and training needed for onboarding teams to successfully follow the project management, change management, continuous improvement and communication methodologies.
Advising coordinated implementation efforts to mitigate risks, identify dependencies and ensure a positive change experience for employees.
Developing and maintaining tools, templates and training on project management, change management, continuous improvement and communications for non-product related projects.
The OSM provides internal consulting services to various departments and teams within the organization.
This involves:
Conducting benchmarking and best practice research to innovative and diverse perspectives to the company.
Challenging the status quo and generating innovative ideas through a cross-functional and enterprise lens.
Serve as subject matter expert in project management, change management, continuous improvement and communication.
Develop and embed standard tools or process(es) to support organization ways of working and functional capabilities.
Building relationships and partnership with internal and external strategy management, project management, operational excellence and change management teams and forums.
Foster cross-functional relationships where opportunities exist to reduce work, remove redundancy or enhance collaboration on similarly scoped initiatives.
Education & Experience:
BA or BS Degree preferred in Business, Life Sciences or Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
Project & Program Management and/or
Process Excellence/Improvement or Lean-DMAIC.
Certification in PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
Certification in Change Management is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills; effective in teams and as an individual.
Results driven; ability to propose make data driven solutions and be creative in applying new ideas or solutions.
The hiring range for this position is $86 to $96 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
