Principle Admin Analyst
Job Description
Payroll and PeopleSoft subject matter expert that will analyze current payroll system and processes.
This position will help develop improvements and process changes to align with current law and CalPERS rules.
Job Duties include:
Define payroll management and user requirements; develop and recommend improvement to payroll policies, procedures systems, resource allocations and organizational structures.
Conduct and document payroll enterprise-wide process improvement.
Act as project manager in payroll system review and possible re-implementation. Plan and coordinate IT project including developing scope, methodology, quality control measures, budget and schedule.
Analyze payroll and other statistical data.
Act as procurement contract administrator resolving contractual disagreements, disputes and nonperformance problems related to payroll. Develop and implement communication plans and training; monitor and identify contract delinquencies or performance problems and implement methods for resolution and initiate contractual remedies.
Serve as liaison and represent the Company as an expert in payroll with other staff and outside
agencies.
Perform other related Administrative Analyst job duties as required.
Experience expectations listed below:
8 years or more in HRIS Management (functional), Benefits, Payroll, Accounting and Finance.
Payroll PeopleSoft SME (worked with PS less than 5 years ago).
Bargaining Units experience is A+.
Payroll (Kronos Time Keeping) PS HCM, Benefits Administration, Core HR Tables (SQL, SQR, App Engine etc.) and experience in Pivot Tables, Formulas, Charts, and Vertical Lookup.
Oversee Time & Labor Implementation and HR Reporting.
Analytical & Detail Oriented Skills are a must.
