Human Resources Manager
Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Manager reports to the company President and is responsible for the overall HR
function and provides both strategic and tactical HR support to our growing engineering consulting
services firm.
The Human Resources Manager will serve as the HR strategy partner on a wide variety of topics including employment practices, compensation and benefits, performance management and coaching, and manage the day‐to‐day HR operations.
The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the leadership team and will serve as a thought leader on HR topics to the business.
This position is ideal for a strong candidate who has a passion and drive for HR and is currently in the role of an HR Manager or HR Generalist who is ready for the next step in their career.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the role include but is not limited to:
Manage day‐to‐day HR operations consisting of benefits, 401(k) plan, recruiting, on‐boarding/off‐boarding, leaves of absence, compensation planning, performance management and development, employee relations, compliance, and more.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Partner with benefits broker and third party retirement plan consultant.
Administer performance review and compensation programs.
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Provide information, consultation and direction to managers on HR related matters.
Manage the hiring process, which includes, full life cycle recruiting, HRIS entries, and orientation.
Identify, develop, and implement HR strategies, programs, and processes to support the company during its growth phase and rely on standardized business processes.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting requirements and regulations affecting human resources and proactively ensure business practices are in compliance.

Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organization
Development.
Three to five plus years of solid HR Generalist experience.
Three to five plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‐CP, or SHRM‐SCP) certification preferred,
not required.
Valid Driver’s License.
