9992 Business Engagement Manager
Duties: Responsibilities
Leading Business Partnerships: You are the face of Payments Risk Operations to the business units.
You will lead the relationship with the business partners to establish meaningful connectivity across organizations.
You will work jointly with business partners to guide the businesses and Payments Risk Operations through changing priorities.
Influencing Long-Term Planning: You will collaborate with business partners to develop critical long-term projects that advance the business’s objectives as well as those of Payments Risk Operations.
Leveraging the larger Airbnb organization: You will develop a deep understanding of how the broader organization functions and you’re able to leverage the expertise and knowledge of a large organization to deliver the needs of your business partners.
Representing Payments Risk Operations Strategy: You can represent the Payments Risk Operations roadmap to business partners in a tailored way that gets them excited and bought into key initiatives.
Business knowledge: You have a solid understanding of the business models and organizational workings of your business partners and you’re able to represent that back to the Payments Risk Operations organization.
Manage the PRO Program: You support the daily program management throughout the program life cycle, coordinating the projects and their cross dependencies and managing and utilizing deliverables across projects.
You manage the program management documentation & deliverables such as the program charters, timelines, RACI charts, and communication plans.
Drive Key Initiatives: Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for key program launches.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (MBA Preferred)
Significant and progressive experience (a minimum of 5 years), navigating complex or matrixed environments.
5+ years of project/program management experience.
Experience in customer service, strategy, management consulting, or finance.
Experience presenting ideas to executives and industry leaders.
Comfortable working with data to answer basic business and operations questions.
Experience creating written and visual materials to explain and synthesize complex ideas.
A Plus:
Experience managing multiple programs in a fast-paced, global, company-wide scale environment.
Experience using Tableau, Excel, or similar analytics packages.
Experience in business operations.
