7926 Web Remediation Software Engineer

Duties:
Remediate/fix accessibility violations in web products.

Skills:
Must Have:
5+ years of experience with digital accessibility remediation.
7+ years of industry experience in web/ desktop.
Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA, and related web technology.
Expertise in using and testing with assistive technologies, such as screen readers.
Expert knowledge in addressing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and compliance standards.
Good communication skills.

Nice Have:
Experience working in a modern frontend stack (JS, TypeScript, React, Redux, Cypress).

First Week:
Will be setting up access to systems, training, onboarding with the particular product team, JIRA integration on how things are logged.
Assigned to existing issues to assess what they’ll work on.

Education:
No Degree Required
