6275 Associate Manufacturing Logistics Specialist I
Job Description
Under the supervision of the Final Product Supervisor, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for the receipt, dispensing, storage, distribution, transfer and record keeping of finished goods and IMP packaging components.
The Specialist is responsible for the execution of their responsibilities in a cGMP environment, safely utilizing material handling equipment and vehicles, adhering to cGMP procedures, ensuring departmental regulatory compliance, maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
Responsibilities
Processing hazardous materials, R&D and product sample shipments.
Processing international shipments including documentation and packaging of materials.
Receipt and dispensing of finished goods, WIP inventory and packaging components to and from Manufacturing Facilities.
Pick, Pack, and Ship clinical finished drug products to Domestic and International destinations.
Processing rejected, returned or expired drug products for destruction.
Coordinating and scheduling product destruction with destruction site.
Maintenance of inventory control system for drug products.
Inventory cycle counting.
Maintenance of equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
Operating material handling equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Fully proficient on applicable SOP’s and demonstrate ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Recommend changes to SOP’s as needed.
Participate in training individuals.
Access various databases and input data with a high level of accuracy.
Filing documentation and storage per corporate retention schedules.
Requirements
High school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge or experience with warehouse and inventory systems and concepts.
IATA certification and experience with international documentation is preferred.
Ability to meet TSA requirements including successful completion of a background check.
Ability to successfully complete the CCSP (Certified Cargo Screening Program).
Material handling equipment experience preferred.
Proficiency with computer systems and RF (radio frequency/scanner devices) technology.
Detailed oriented and with good prioritization skills.
Ability to work in a highly cooperative team environment.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work overtime occasionally.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
