6259 Training Manager
Description:
The Training Manager / Sr. Manager will thoroughly identify the training/educational needs of the Early Clinical Development function (including Clinical Operations, Clinical Science, Informatics, and
Quality and Compliance), articulate goals for meeting these needs, and identify creative, high impact and sustainable approaches for meeting training goals.
The individual is responsible for ongoing gap analysis to align learning objectives with required GCP behaviors to ensure training requirements/curriculums meet the needs of a clinically regulated environment.
The individual is responsible for providing timely and metric driven updates on the status of training programs and ensuring that training and continuing education/development programs are appropriately reviewed, technically sound, and aligned with department goals.
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Partner strategically across ECD to identify employee training needs and work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training to achieve required specialty skills and knowledge in all assigned areas.
Build and develop strong sustainable relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Design and develop training solutions, using solid instructional design methodology, including adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based evaluations to ensure training solutions are effective, and aligned with quality and regulatory requirements.
Produce, amend and or revised training materials for in-house courses as necessary.
Facilitate the execution of all training plans and apply project management principles, processes, and tools to ensure on time delivery of training projects.
Acts as a support contact fielding questions and issues from staff related to training and/or curriculum and Learning Management System.
Develops and maintains training content in compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Coordinates with subject matter experts to ensure that prepared training meets stated objectives and has appropriate content.
Serves as subject matter expert on best practices and state of the art training delivery methodologies, curriculum development, etc.
Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material.
Evaluates the effectiveness of trainings, implementing modifications, when necessary.
Provides additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed.
