Description:
The Process Engineering Purification Laboratory provides technical support and stewardship for purification operations of the process, which encompass isolation of the pharmaceutical protein from the cell culture fluid.
We play a key role during all aspects of the product lifecycle, from transfer into the manufacturing facility through commercialization and ongoing monitoring of operations, to ensure consistent process performance.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Assisting in purification laboratory operations, inclusive of process buffer and chromatography column preparation, operation of AKTA and HPLC chromatography systems, maintaining analytical equipment and monitoring of purification performance.
Completing small-scale experiments for chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration and normal flow filtration operations.
Coordinating and participating in design and execution of process characterization/validation studies. Preparation and distribution of validation study samples to testing groups.
Preparation and review of data packages and technical reports and presentation of results to group meetings and other stakeholders.
This job position involves working in a laboratory setting with potential hazardous chemicals and other laboratory related hazards.
