5874 US and Canada Benefits Program Manager
Duties:
The Role We are looking for a Benefits Program Manager that will be part of our Total Rewards team. The Benefits Program Manager will manage fully insured and self-insured benefits programs in the US and Canada, implement new benefit programs, ensure program compliance, partner with vendors and benefits brokers, and answer escalated employee benefit questions.
The role will work cross functionally with teams such as payroll, talent systems, talent operations, legal, and others as needed.

Responsibilities:
Benefits Program Management:
Oversees delivery of medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefit programs for US and Canada.
Ensures benefit programs are competitive, compliant, and communicated effectively to employees. Manages vendors and benefits brokers to ensure best in class service.
Conducts competitive analysis of benefits programs, benefit renewals, RFPs, and new benefit implementations.
Recommends improvements in benefit design, administration and efficiency based on data driven analysis and outcomes.
Helps manage and deliver large scale projects like US Open Enrollment.
Benefits Administration:
Resolves escalated employee benefits inquiries via email or our ticketing system Jira.
Oversees the development of workflows, business processes, and performs testing of Workday and other data systems to support vendor changes, benefit program changes, and employee enrollment windows.
Reviews and audits benefit bills for accuracy and to ensure timely payment.
Corresponds with vendors and internal accounts payable and finance team to resolve discrepancies.
Partners with other EX teams as needed (payroll, talent, etc.) to resolve benefit processes.
Data Analysis:
Data collection and analysis, including surveys and benchmarking.
Creating and evaluating Workday reports and other third party data.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Skills:
Preferred Background
8+ years of Benefits experience in the US and Canada.
Managing benefit programs, new benefit implementations, and ongoing vendors/broker relationships. Experience with both fully and self-insured benefit plans.
Strong communication and relationship building skills to effectively support and connect with a globally diverse workforce.
Hands-on experience in Workday and Jira.
Working knowledge of HRIS workflow, report development, and support.
Proficient with Excel and knowledge of Google Applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Calendar, etc.). Knowledgeable in benefits regulatory compliance.
Not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the role – no job too big or too small. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and apply excellent judgement.
Self-directed but also great at collaborating with employees at all levels and with many different teams. Ability to be patient and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Approachable with a problem-solving attitude.
