4759 Assistant Project Manager II
General Job Description:
Support the Oceanside Capex Project Manager(s) to achieve the projects approved User requirements, scope, cost and schedule parameters, meeting safety and quality expectations, right-first-time
Day-to-day Duties:
(Note – Assignment is not a routine job function. The actual percentage of time spent on tasks will fluctuate, dependent on phase of assigned project(s) and project activity prioritization)
Coordinate design requirements from User team to Engineering team
Establish and maintain Capex project Obeya room materials (SQDEC materials and forms, KPI’s, visual performance planning, Planned Percent Compete)
Maintain Last-Planner Action plan system, and track progress on Project Action Items
Maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP) to reflect changes in schedule, scope, budget, etc.
Coordinate tracking and completion of Engineering Manual Deliverables
Update Project Change Management Plan including process flow, instruction, etc. if required
Aid in Preparation for, coordinate, facilitate design and project execution workshops (presentations, meeting notes, decision-tracking)
Assist project team in the development and execution of the project handover and readiness Plan (coordinate the implementation of the checklists, train, support, track)
Coordinate the implementation of the equipment spare parts process (train, support, track)
Coordinate and set up the training requirements and matrix
Support the Global Project Audit Activities
Maintain and update the Project(s) Charter, as appropriate
Capture and document Ongoing Lessons Learned
Participate during Project Schedule Review
Participate during Project Cost Estimate developments, at key project phases
Track Project Deliverables for PI, CD, BD & DD phase
Create and update Engineering Quality Control (EQC) Plan for assigned project(s)
Create, track and update Project Turnover & Handover Plan
Set up templates and processes, manage the Project Turnover Checklists
Aid in the creation and update Operational Start-up Support Plan (OSP)
Manage and maintain Project Team’s documentation (for project management, engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning), in electronic document management systems
