4610 Assistant Project Manager II
Description:
The selected candidate will join our global, cross PT functional team, as the global development project manager.
PIT technology represents a way to improve the mass of product produced per run (e.g. kg per time in manufacturing plant).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your experience and working relationships across global regions and PT functions.
You will:
Learn DS bioprocess technical depth (includes upstream and downstream DS process).
Expand your breadth of knowledge (end-to-end thinking for the PIT platform process from early CMC development through to commercial launch site manufacturing).
Learn and participate in the development and innovation effort for PIT deployment to OCN (including considerations for a future SUT site), and activities that may enable improved output based upon PIv2.0 (e.g.. PIv2.x), and the next gen DS platform (e.g. PIv3.0).
Experience a new way of working with parallel development and engineering design phases for faster and better collaboration between development and manufacturing.
Contribute to outcomes that will be of high value for our company and patients.
Have the opportunity to communicate with and influence/guide/support a complex, global team with representation from PTDU, PTDE, pRED LMR, PTT and to interact with key stakeholders in PTM (One Internal Manufacturing Network), PTT (Global MSAT and Engineering), DS Network Strategy (PTY), PTR, PTQ, and Legal. And, you will also interact with external engineering firms, and key suppliers/vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate: Weekly meeting with project and sub team leads.
Monthly meetings with Upstream, Downstream, and Global sub teams.
Ad-hoc meetings with SMEs and Key Stakeholders to ensure project success.
Capture action items and send out meeting minutes.
Facilitate workshops and discussions when necessary and help guide the decision-making process.
Knowledge Management activities and forward-looking behavior to continuously update:
Shared folders for the development and manufacturing joint efforts.
Team databases (e.g. PTI Technology Tech Tracker, PIT molecule database).
Other key data (presentations, logistical info, budget/FTE info, etc.) that support organization for improved speed, traceability, accuracy, and clarity in communication/sharing/decision making.
Monthly internal/external website updates, craft and edit external facing documents.
Update the project charter, health, timeline and associated documents, such as Roles and Responsibilities, Stakeholder Register.
Crafting and updating Project Plans in Smartsheet/gSuite.
Requirements:
Passionate about innovation and learning, supporting our DS network to deliver the pipeline, and about making our medicines more cost effective and accessible for patients.
Customer focused mindset and very strong communication skills with a bias toward action.
Project Management experience including Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desired
gSuite experience – a gSite/shared drive will need to be maintained.
Smartsheet experience.
Bioprocess and Process Intensification knowledge preferred, and/or strong proactive desire to learn and do.
