4216 Operations Project Manager II
Key contributor to MA&S Operations to determine improvements or other opportunities for technology solutions in partnership with IT (gCOI).
Acts as a lead liaison between gCOI and MA&S Operations.
Represents MA&S Operations priorities and concerns to gCOI and helps to bring gCOI’s perspective to MA&S stakeholders.
Capture business requirements, defects and system enhancements as needed.
Collaborates with gCOI organization regarding issue resolution, feedback on design, communications about functionality, prioritization, etc.
Works closely with internal partners or other stakeholders to evaluate and plan for new/enhanced solutions.
Identifies and recommends new or enhanced business processes, policies, procedures, communication, training and/or change management needs.
Leads internal partner and customer reviews and approvals of business area strategies, roadmap plans and other key items.
Provides input to the planning by framing key issues to be explored, gathering data.
Ensure improved methodology and tools are utilized effectively to maximize benefits.
Deliver project goals on budget and on schedule.
Collaborates closely with gCOI on the planning and conduct of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for scheduled and interim releases.
Advocates for approved end-user requests to ensure that deliverables will meet or exceed expectations.
Ensures pull-through communication with involved end users.
Designs, develops, implements and solicits feedback on Knowledge Management / gMEMORI training.
Responsible for training and event logistics.
Ability to organize and develop business cases for recommendation and presentation of technology innovation opportunities to steering committee.
Completes other administration, as and when needed, assigned or requested.
At all times, ensures consistent compliance with all IT protocols, procedures, standards and other relevant business requirements.
Maintains standards, promotes participation and incrementally improves department intranet.

Minimum of 3-4 years related work experience in an Operations role with implementation of process improvement initiatives (e.g. business information systems, operations support, project management, or related consulting experience).
Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding targets and goals.
Ability to influence without authority is key to success in this role.
Computer Science a plus.
