We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join the team.
You will lead the development of analytical models, reporting, and insights to amplify the reach and performance of the Company’s mission.

Responsibilities
Defining key metrics (internal goals & public facing metrics).
Creating business critical dashboards.
Investigating challenging questions around the Company’s users’ behavior.
Researching and compiling external data sources to inform business decisions.
Forecast global need for housing across a variety of causes (disaster response, refugee resettlement, etc.).
Designing experiments in partnership with our product team.
Informing the public narrative of our work through data and visualizations.

Qualifications
5+ years analytics experience (data analysis and visualization).
Experience with statistical analysis, modeling, and building data pipelines.
Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and communicate to business partners through strong written and verbal communication.
Project management experience, with proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments.
High level of independence and autonomy.

Fluency in the core toolkit of Data Science:
Implementing visualizations, dashboards, and reports
Advanced SQL/Hive
Airflow or similar job-scheduler tools
Descriptive and predictive modeling
R/Python (proficient or willing to learn)
